Marie is a wedding florist, and knew that she wanted her wedding to be bursting at the seams with blooms of all colors and sizes. Her dream was a fairytale wedding in the North Georgia mountains. The guests commented all day long that they had never seen so many flowers in one place before!

Marie and Logan wanted their wedding to feel like a spontaneous gathering in the forest, and we found the perfect venue at Cloudland Canyon State Park. The ceremony site took place in the far corner of an adjacent meadow, beneath a cluster of pine trees.

The Group Shelter at Cloudland Canyon State Park was the ideal location for the reception, because it was a blank slate. With bare, concrete floors and wooden ceiling rafters, this Venue was completely transformed. Marie designed her fairytale wedding with hanging greenery, birdcages, lights, and other elements above the guests’ heads, and a different collection of florals on every table. One of the bride’s six sisters made her cake and cupcakes, pressing delicate dried flowers into the icing.

Other unique details included an iced coffee bar, tiny otters (the bride’s favorite animal!), portraits at the Lookout Point, and watering a gardenia bush during the ceremony.

This wedding day was full of flowers, soft summer colors, and sweet love. Many thanks to the vendors who made this fairytale wedding in the North Georgia mountains possible!
